Our advisory Board is made up of experts in the Food System providing guidance in various areas that relate to developing and maintaining a sustainable food system for Africa at large.

Wala

Dr. E D Wala Chabala

Dr Chabala holds a PhD in Physical Sciences from the University of Cambridge. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Development Economics from University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from the University of Zambia. He graduated at both Bachelors and Masters with distinctions with a number of academic excellence awards. Dr Chabala has also attended various professional courses including Making Markets Work, a course jointly offered by Havard and Wits Business Schools, a Strategic Finance course at Wits Business School and an Executive Global Leadership course offered by London Business School/Cape Town Graduate School of Business.

Dr. Ikechi

Dr Ikechi K Agbugba

Dr. earned BSc, MSc & PhD degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria and specialized in Agricultural Marketing & Agribusiness. He is currently a Lecturer & Researcher in the Dept of Agric & Applied Economics at the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He gained Post-doctoral Research experience at the University of Fort Hare, South Africa under the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) Collaboration Centre for Research on Smallholder Development in the Dept. of Agric. Econ & Extension, Faculty of Science & Agriculture. As a Field Research Officer, he has also gained experience with a World Bank-Assisted Project by name: Micro, Small & Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) Project, & Business Development Office at Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Wim Goris

Wim is based in the Netherlands and works as a Coalition Builder at the Netherlands Food Partnership. He is trained in animal husbandry and worked in Brazil before dedicating himself to networking farmer entrepreneurship and under AgriProFocus he was the network facilitator in Zambia, Tanzania, Mozambique and Ethiopia. His interest was to interest was to support network activities in livestock sectors such as dairy, poultry, pigs and extensive livestock. He now works as a Coalition Builder for the Netherlands Food Partnership which connects and supports SDG2 initiatives by Dutch organisations and partners from Low and Middle Income Countries.

Buumba Mwela Kaunga

Experienced financial professional, chartered certified accountant and financial manager with almost 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Experience in financial management training, capacity building and support to local partners: both medium-large NGOs and small CSOs. Proficient in designing and implementing financial systems, policies, risk management and due diligence procedures to ensure internal controls.Experience in grant compliance according to specific donor requirements contained in the agreements signed under each specific donor grant. Experience of developing financial management and assessment manuals; and of tailoring these according to the organisation. Extensive knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems such as Sage Pastel, Maconomy and SAP.
Highly Skilled in procurement, risk/audit management,financial reporting, budget management and human resource management.

nathan mowa

Professor Nathan Mowa Chishimba- 

Prof Mowa has a PhD from the Hokkaido University, Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine in Japan and has worked in the veterinary field in Zambia for several years before moving to the US to focus more on human health. His involvement in moringa includes the initiation of an African moringa think tank to promote the development of moringa related research and industry and the initiation of the North Carolina Moringa Research Consortium
