AgriEn was established in 2020 following the transition of AgriProFocus Global Network into the Netherlands Food Partnership. This realization birthed an independent localized social enterprise. NFP and AgriEn have a common focus on achieving Food security from a food systems approach through a collaborative approach. AgriEn (Agribusiness and Agri Energy) is focused on accelerating the development and delivery of innovative and sustainable interventions in food security. This is through Agri knowledge transfer, Investment facilitation, Relationship Brokering and Agri Innovation Promotion.
Over the years, AgriEn has noted the demand for its programmes and services from its partner communities. However, in order to deliver on these programmes, AgriEn requires to mobilise technical and financial resources in order to scale and deliver these interventions to partner communities. AgriEn Network is now looking for a New Business Development Associate to work with us for six months to raise business resource portfolio.
Your role will be to:
Scout for new partnerships and funding opportunities in form of grants and others.
Serve as leader of Proposal Development Teams for specific proposals as assigned.
Ensure overall quality of proposal (technical, annexes, and cost).
Develop and manage the proposal production calendar to ensure the team stays on schedule.
Manage the proposal development process for assigned opportunities, including contributing to writing and editing.
Identify writing needs, make writing assignments, enter into contracts with consultants for proposal input as needed, and ensure quality control of proposal deliverables.
Prepare and continuously improve templates, forms and solutions to ensure most cost effective and efficient approaches to pricing and cost proposal development.

- Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field including Development, Business Management, Marketing, Project Management and agriculture.
Demonstrated experience as proposal coordinator.
Excellent communication and team building skills.
3 years relevant work experience in development.
- Experience in managing and writing proposals to major development agencies and foundations.
Knowledge of proposal processes and contracting mechanisms

Competitive based on Associate engagement conditions which include a percentage of business attracted and cost recovery.
